Making Meaning Speech Pathology's goal is to help children express themselves, connect with others and make sense of their world. The focus is on developing your child’s skills in meaningful ways, as well as empowering families, caregivers, and educators with practical strategies to support language and communication.

About
Tina Valentine
Tina is an experienced Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. She graduated from La Trobe University in 2014 with a Masters in Speech Pathology.
​
Tina has worked with children aged 2 to 18 in early intervention, special education, and private practice settings, and has special interests in early childhood, autism and argumentative and alternative communication (AAC). She is a More Than Words and It Takes Two To Talk Hanen certified therapist.
Tina focuses on building trust and connection, and works collaboratively with children and carers, using a strength-based, family and child centred approach.
She is guided by neurodiversity affirming values and respects every child’s unique communication style and preferences.

Outside of work, Tina is mum to 2 humans, 2 cats, a dog, and tropical fish.
Making Meaning Speech Pathology acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and pays respect to Elders, past, present, and future.
